Thank you for your interest in Pedras Wine Company founded by Cecilia & Wil Harris. The premiere release, 2005 Pedras Cabernet Sauvignon, was released in August 2008.
Produced by Winemaker Jamey Whetstone, Pedras Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from the most expressive four acre site of our family's Ristow Estate Vineyard. With only 500 cases produced each year, Pedras Cabernet Sauvignon is bright, luscious and well balanced.

It has been said that success can come in many ways. For the Renterias, an old Napa Valley family of growers, the true success has been wine and love of the land. Innovation and hard work is evident in the quality of vine and quality of the wine. This great love has been passed to the next generation.

Inspired by our Tuscan roots and our longstanding ties to the Napa Valley, Anselmo Vigne is a collaboration of heart, hand and terroir. We built our winery on Napa Valley's eastern foothills where we craft limited-production Cabernet Sauvignon from the mature estate vineyard planted in 1988. It is our family's privilege to have enjoyed stewardship of this beautiful vineyard for ten years.

It has long been our dream to produce a superb Sauvignon Blanc in the Napa Valley modeled on the best traditions of the incredible Bordeaux blancs of France. In 2005 we were fortunate to locate a beautiful estate vineyard in Calistoga which was planted over 50 years ago on St. George rootstock. Backdropped by the Palisades, the old vines thrive in this dry-farmed vineyard which has deep soil that is well suited to growing Sauvignon Blanc.

John Anthony Truchard was raised in the family tradition of farming vineyards and worked hand in hand with his father, Tony Truchard learning the wine business. In 1997 John Anthony began leasing and managing his own vineyards with the idea of one day producing a small quantity of high-end wines. His wife, Michele shared his passion and together in 2003 they crushed what would become their first vintage – less than 1000 cases. Today John Anthony produces a Carneros Sauvignon Blanc, a Napa Valley Syrah, and a Napa Valley Cabernet. All of the grapes for John Anthony wines are grown by John Anthony, the wines are of limited production, have been received favorable by the wine press, trade, and most importantly customers.
